Sessùn was founded by Emma Francois, a former anthropology student from Montpellier, during an inspirational trip to South America in 1995.

At first, her designs were in crochet and pure wool, made by Latin American craftspeople and then imported. Three years later, Francois moved production to Marseille.

The brand is known for its links with culture and the arts, with inspiration drawn from a wide range of sources, from stories and films to songs and songwriters. The French label from Marseille “fun, unrestrictive and understated feminine”. Feminine styles, beautiful prints and subtle knits. A collection to love!

Sessùn is worldwide sold in over 800 shops and has opened seven of their own shops in Paris, Marseille, Aix-en Provence, Avignon, Berlin, Lille and Brussels.
